Eddie was born on April 7, 1947 to the late John & Edna Davis. He graduated from Central High School class of 1965, and then attended Memphis State University. He was a facility maintenance technician for Union Planters Bank, Boyle Investments and lastly 7-Eleven stores.
Eddie sang in the church choir at Central Church and Central North Church; Memphis Men of Harmony and anywhere else that would allow him. If you knew him, you also know his love for Elvis Presley and even named their dachshund Elvis. He loved any type of trivia and watching the game show Jeopardy. Eddie also love and played baseball and softball, even coached for his kids all into his '60s.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 39 years Susan Davis; his children Nicole Davis and Eddie (Ashley) Davis; grandchildren Hannah Parlow, Haiden & Hogan Stone, and Olive and Lincoln Davis; great-grandchildren Ellie & Levi Hawkins; his brother John Davis; sister-in-law Linda (Jimmy) Rooker and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 20 from noon until funeral services begin at two o'clock in the afternoon all held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Jonathan Dunn of River City Church will conduct the funeral.
