He was born to the late Robert and Thelma Johnson on August 28, 1933 in Tacoma, Washington. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Perry Johnson; his brother, Robert Johnson; and his stepson, Eric Melendy.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Betty Johnson; his children, Tommy Johnson, Lori Johnson; step-daughter, Gerri Rick (Jeff); grandchildren, Anthony Rick (Brooke), Tasha Louison (Jeremy), Caleb Rick (Bailey); great-grandchildren, Silas, Ezra, Ruby, Ava, Isabella, Sophia, Barrett, Easton; and his sister in law, Mary Johnson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
