Sherry Lynn Burns

Sherry Lynn Burns, age 69, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Sherry was born October 12, 1951 in Booneville, MS to the late Isom and Glee Box. She loved watching her cowboy movies, playing Rummikub and being outside gardening and building her flower beds.

Sherry is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Terry Gene Burns, her siblings: Kenneth Ray Box, Jean Stewart, Dorothy Cook and Donna Kay Barnes. She is survived by her 3 children: Toni Brasher (Rick) of Cordell,OK, Brandon Burns (Laura) of Bartlett, TN and Amanda Hale (Oak) - Miami, TX, her grandchildren: Kolton and Caleb Martin, Porter, Morgan, and MacCrea Burns of Bartlett, TN, Audrielle Walk and Dalyla Hale of Miami, TX, her siblings;

Janice Dodd of Huntingdon, TN, Kay Hill of New Albany, MS, David Box of Olive Branch, MS, James Box of Henderson, TN and Joe Box of Bauxite, AR and a host of friends that she loved dearly.

A visitation for Sherry will be held Friday, December 4th, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133 with a funeral service to follow Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
