Dear Pastor Denison,

Your love for Mrs. Shelby was evident even in your sermons.
All the good memories of the two of you bring a smile.
You both have been a blessing to us for many years.
Even in a grave side message to help others in their times of grief
you shared some loving and funny endearments concerning her.
We pray that God will comfort your heart until you meet her again

I will miss Aunt Shelby.  She just exuded happiness to life and was always so sweet to me.  I can still here here unique little giggle when she laughed.  I wish I could be at there to celebrate her life.  But I will be praying for HIS comfort for the entire family.  What a legacy she leaves with such a large family!  Love you all!

Shelby was such a beautiful person. She will be missed by all who knew her. We love her and Bro. Jim. We send our sincere condolences. 

Shelby was a true & faithful friend. She was my first Sunday School teacher & taught me about how much Jesus loved me. She was my inspiration & became my BFF.Over the years,I grew up,married & moved away. Back in the 80’s I moved to Memphis & at my first Avon meeting, there sat Shelby. We got together & join forces to help our territories grow. We had a lot of good times together going out in the neighborhoods & signing people up to sell Avon. Everyone loved Shelby no matter where we went. My whole family loved her & Brother Jim & they were like a part of our family. It broke my heart the day the day I was told she had left but I knew she finally made it “Home” . I know we will see each other again in a beautiful & peaceful place & we will share laughter & joy once again! What a day that will be! Brother Denison, Mike,Mitch,Darlene,Deanana,& Denise my thoughts & prayers & heartfelt sympathy is with you in these days ahead. I know how you loved her BUT GOD loved her even more & He will always be there to comfort ya in times like these! Just lean on Him & He will help you thru these difficult times! I’m sending love and prayers to this precious family. Shelby let me claim her dear sister Shirley as my own when we became friends when we were in the Young Married Sunday School Class at church. I came to love all of the Brundige family through Shirley. I’m praying for all of the survivors as they mourn the passing of sweet Shelby. 

Prayers and hugs for this beautiful family! I remember all of you as children at Lexington Baptist Temple in the late 60's & 70's. Shelby was a wonderful mother and great wife to Bro. Denison!  She always had a smile and a hug whenever I saw her here in Lexington. Heaven has gained another beautiful angel...

Love these two. True servants of God. I will miss you Shelby-your serving spirit, you infectious laugh, and your sweet smile. Your work on earth is done. Enjoy your heavenly rewards.
