Sharon Lynn McCready, born November 12, 1958, won her battle with illness and entered her eternal reward on December 19, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Pauline McKinney, her sister Sheila Lavon McKinney, and her son Dr. Thomas R. Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Daniel L. McCready; and her children Jake R. McCready, Jamie D. Chessor (Rev. Kyle Chessor), Jordan Z. McCready (Chris McCready), and Jenna R. McCready.
Sharon was a woman that lived life to the fullest. She was a devoted wife and a loving and proud grandmother (Grammy) of Payton M. McCready, Asher J. McCready, Kylee D. Chessor, Kenlee L. Chessor, and Kaylee G. Chessor.
She was an accomplished pianist, serving the church as both a music director/ musician and minister’s wife for over four decades., spanning three states. She was a spirited leader, that had an unparalleled love for children. With these characteristics combined, she opened and led two successful daycare/preschool centers, where she impacted countless parents and children alike.
She did everything with a heart full of love, passion and a desire to serve those around her.
She will be eternally loved, missed, and cherished by her family and life-long friends. Flowers and condolences be received at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, where loved ones will gather to celebrate her life with a viewing at 1:00, a service at 2:00, and a brief graveside memorial to follow on Tuesday December 27, 2022
