Born Sarah Anita Sanders in July of 1943 was the daughter of the late Russell Sanders and Eugenia (Jaudon) Brown.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Jameson of 59 years. She is survived by her son Gerald and wife Melissa Jameson of Millington, Tn. Three grandchildren: Gerald and Mike Rodgers of Bartlett, Abigail and Bryan Tyrrell of Rosemark, Tn , Ryan Jameson of Millington, Tn.
Sarah was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She had many friends and was a well loved member of the Rosemark community. Sarah was a great cook and loved to cook for family and friends. She used her love of sewing to help others in the community by making bibs and teddy bears for the Shriners School in Memphis. Her quilts earned many awards and ribbons in the Mid-South Fair. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flower beds.
Upon Dad’s retirement they enjoyed traveling the country and world. "
A gathering of family and friends for Sarah will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a celebration of life service at 10:00 AM.
