Robert “Bob” Etheridge, 80, of Lakeland, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Pybas. Mr. Etheridge is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara H. Etheridge, daughter, Julie Green and her husband Wallace, a grandchild, Evan Wallace Green, and a brother, James W. Etheridge and his wife, Nancy. Mr. Etheridge served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Great Oaks Church of Christ. The family will receive friends and relatives at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. on Friday, May 23 at 11:30am. The service will follow at 1pm.
