Raymond (Ray) Heath was born August 8, 1950 to the late Dee and Kathrine Heath in Greensburg Indiana and passed away November 25, 2014 in Nashville, TN. His parents relocated to Mesa Arizona, where he grew up and was baptized at a young age. He graduated from Mesa High School and then was drafted into the United States Army in 1970-1971 in the role of a Sargent. He served his time in Vietnam combat zone. He was honorably discharged and returned home to Mesa Arizona where he continued his education at Mesa Community College and Arizona State University, then became a very successful business owner in commercial building maintenance and janitorial services in Phoenix, AZ, Anaheim, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills California. His health became very serious and he retired from the business in 2001. He finally located to Memphis with his wife to our second home in 2012. He enjoyed gardening and being outside growing flowers and vegetables as he was able. He loved going to church to serve the Lord. He joined a church in every state he lived in including Bellevue Baptist. He leaves to mourn, his wife Susan, one son Mark, (Evon) of Tucson AZ, step daughter Kendrall Wilson, Bartlett TN, one brother J Heath, ( Karen) of Flagstaff, AZ, numerous grandchildren, 4 great-grand-children, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Darrin Heath, 4 sister in-laws, from North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Bellevue Baptist Church - Cordova, TN with the interment to follow at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery - Memphis
