To the family of Mr. Oldham, we send our deepest sympathy. Mr. Oldham was the kindest, most gentle, generous of time & spirit, sweet & funny man I ever knew. He was 1 of a kind, that will truly be missed by family & friends. We loved & admired him.

Thinking of all the things about a Great Man and his Legacy.  Our prayers are with you all. There is now a void in our lives, but God, and He alone will fill the gap with His Mercy, Love and Grace.  So many things to say about Mr. Oldham. He has Blessed all of us with his compassion. We all felt the comradre of a Family working together for Oldham Chemical. I bought Delta Pest Control in McGehee Arkansas in 1984 I drove to Memphis to ask Mr Oldham for credit. He took me in as customer of his. If not for him Delta would not be where we are today. So sorry for the families loss. Great man. 

It has been my pleasure to work for Mr. O and his company for so many years. I remember the smile on his face and his asking how I was doing. You will be missed Mr. O but always remembered. Our hearts thoughts and prayers go out to the family as you are now rejoiced with the Lord. 

Enjoyed the time years ago that I got to spend with you and the Oldham family, when we came up, Gregory Pest Solutions, to get training on termite equipment. We both got into trouble for our dessert choices.

I was a kid enjoying my favorite grandmother’s cherry pie at her kitchen table in West Helena, Arkansas, when my uncle from Memphis complained to his mother that she favored her grandson to her son in serving desserts!  My grandmother understood the tease for what it was.  She loved us both, and my uncle Sonny just smiled.

He left a good job in Memphis to form a new company with his wife Ada.  He drove a  station wagon through the area selling pest control chemicals.  At first he just needed to pay his bills.  At one early stop one customer/supplier complained, “Sonny, your tires are bald.”  Millard explained he couldn’t afford new tires.  So, his associate bought him new tires, offering them to him as a loan.  People liked him.  He continued to work and innovate.  In time his company included 14 locations over 8 states.

Well, that tells (part of) the story of Millard Oldham.  Oh, yes he was very likeable, but he also demanded integrity, hard work, and service to his customer.  Maybe he was the new version of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”  I think he just assured us that nice guys do finish first.

I was privileged to know Mr. Oldham over the last few decades and he was so much more than an employer as he considered all of us "family".  Mr. and Mrs. Oldham were a safe harbor for me during one of the most difficult times in my life and I will be forever grateful for their love, friendship and guidance.  My heart aches for Ms. Ada and all the family but I find comfort in knowing that we will all be rejoined in the most glorious reunion in heaven some sunny day.  
Rest in peace Mr. O - this is not goodbye , it's just for now.

I met Millard Oldman 49 years ago through Marsha, my BFF. Not once in all these years did he disappoint me as a Christian, father figure, employer, or role model in many way!
I thank my friends Marsha and her family for sharing this wonderful father with me! There's a giant hole left in my life and heart with Millard's passing that will be filled when we get together in Heaven one sweet day.

My husband and I met Millard and Ada through their granddaughter, Stephanie.  Stephanie and our daughter Casey were best friends growing up. I remember the first time dropping Casey off to spend the night. It was at the home of Millard and Ada. Millard welcomed Casey with opened arms as he did us. His kindness and generosity to our family expanded for many years. We spent many Friday nights at BCS football games as well as band competitions. He always had time for his granddaughter and friend. Most of all I remember his sweet smile and kindness to everyone. RIP Mr. Oldham. You will be greatly missed.

Oh my heart, this man has taught me so much working for him & his family the last 30yrs!! Mr O was like a father to me spent more time with him than my own father! He & Ms Ada have been there for me raising my daughters & burying my own parents! I have never worked for a company that has been committed to servicing customers like the Oldham’s. I have watched him give credit to people starting out & corporate America companies would not. This week has been very emotional hearing all the stories & grateful & loyal people who tell me they couldn’t have made it without Mr.O & Tommy Reeves has made sure we will continue his legacy! Fly high Mr O you were one of a kind & I will do my best to honor you & your business & your family always!🙏🙏🤗🤗❤️❤️😇😇

My Uncle Sonny was the best, the sweetest, kindest man on this earth.  He  loved being with all of his family for cookouts etc.  we will all miss Uncle Sonny.  My prayers are with Aunt Ada, Marsha , Tommy, Stephanie and Blake , and Aunt Tac and Uncle Buddy who will ALL carry life forward at work, home, and church.  God bless us all.

Mr Oldham was such a dear person always having a smile on his face .It has been a blessing working for his company for the past 22 years he will be greatly missed .
