Marcia Lindsey Morgan, born on October 6, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK, passed away peacefully on her 73rd birthday, October 6, 2024. A dedicated nurse, Marcia devoted her life to caring for others, always bringing compassion and kindness to her work.
Marcia was an avid equestrian enthusiast who found joy and solace on horseback. She often expressed that her favorite place in the world was on a horse. She loved the outdoors and reveled in the warmth of the sunshine, bringing a bright spirit to everyone around her.
Marcia was deeply rooted in her faith in Jesus, serving as a very active member of Bellevue Baptist Church, where she fostered connections and supported her community. She was a loving wife to her husband, Barry, and a proud mother to her daughter, Nikki Pawlowski, and grandmother "Bunny" to her cherished grandson, MJ.
Marcia is survived by her brothers, James (Jim) and Mark Lindsey, who will remember her for her unwavering optimism and ability to see the good in everything. Her legacy of love, faith, and positivity will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Barry Morgan and her brother, John Lindsey.
A gathering of family and friends for Marcia will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, burial will be in Memorial Gardens following the service.
