Linda Jean Roy

Linda Jean Roy, 76, of Somerville, TN passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was born on December 24, 1944. Linda was an active member of Oakland First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family especially, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Franklin O. Roy, her father Hazel F. Bunn, her mother Callie Lucille Lewis, three brothers, Jerry O. Bunn, Stephen Bunn and Phillip Bunn. She is survived by her three daughters, Rhonda Creel and her husband Jeff of Somerville, TN, Susan Rieben and Hans of Horn Lake, MS, Lori Flint and her husband Kirk, of Pennsburg, PA, one brother, David Bunn or Lawson, MS, eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and her life long best friend Sue Woodbury. The family would like to thank and acknowledge her caretaker Monica Rayner for the love and dedication to her.

The family will receive friends from 12pm until service time at 2pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN 38133.
