Judith Rice Aven

Judith was a member of Bartlett Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a switchboard operator for Bell South and loved traveling and going on mission trips.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, V.W Rice and Faye Rice Collier, her loving husband, George E. Aven; great grandson, Oliver M. Smith and her brother, Bob J. Rice

She will be deeply missed by her children, Rene' A Smith (Michael), Bruce E. Aven (Lisa); grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Ashley) of Prospect, KY, Anna Smith Anderson (Larry) of Cordova, TN, Stuart Smith (Nina) of Collierville, Katie Aven Wilson (Michael) of Bartlett, TN, Amy Aven Maliskas of Bartlett, TN; fourteen great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Phyllis Rice of Fort Smith, AR; niece, Jenny Rice Finney (Clayton) of Houston, TX and Amy Rice Wandry of Fayetteville, AR.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the service time at 10:00 am on December 30, 2023 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. Burial will follow service in Memorial Gardens.
