 I will always remember Joe and the wonderful trips my husband & I took with Bobbi  and Joe . . .Barbados, Costa Rica,  Alabama, and Florida.   We spent the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays at their home in Memphis where we had our own "suite".  They both welcomed us into their family and home for many years.  Every time we went to Tunica, they met us there and we enjoyed that tremendously.    May Joseph,  my friend,  rest in peace.

Harold and I are heartbroken that we cant be with Bobbi today.
Joe was a wonderful man and we both have fond memories of our times together.  Our lives crossed again after trucking industry and you two invited us in to your family because of Donna and Butch.

Dear Aunt Bobbi,

I remember how excited I was each fall and winter while on my way  to your home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I ALWAYS looked forward to seeing Poppa Joe,  my Aunt Bobbi, and the rest of our beautiful family. I am sure you remember that it was Hoppy Joe who taught me how to play Texas Hold 'Em. A few of us would play poker after Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. Joe was such a perfect addition to the family. His sense of humor and brutal honesty is something that I always admired.  May you find peace, courage, and strength during this difficult time.

I miss you and will talk to you soon, Aunt Bobbi.

Joe and I like boats and jet skis.  When he invited me over to help him get his started, we both had a good laugh.  His was a 2000 and mine was a 99.  We agreed that if we could get them running we ought to sell since they were both old and rough around the edges and Joe added "kinda like us!"   We put the pontoon in the water, tried to start it, took it out and Joe would fiddle with it.  A few days later, we'd put it back in the water and do the same again.  The engine was not cooperative.  He called me a couple weeks later and happily announced he got a new motor - it purrs.   Joe - thank you for sharing the simplest of things with me - your time.  I appreciate your humor and strength.   Bobbie, I'll always have these memories of Joe - thank you for sharing him.

Chuck and I are so grateful for the friendship we shared with Joe and Bobbi. Joe always was smiling, joking and having a good time. We had hoped to bowl one more time for some more great laughs, but God had other plans. Prayers for Bobbi and all of the family. 

I enjoyed everytime I was around Joe through the years. Such a fun, interesting, lovely person. He lived his life to the fullest. He will be missed by so many and my heart goes out to all.
