Jerry Allen Cobb, of Millington, retired painting contractor, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the age of 73. He was an Army veteran serving in Vietnam from 1968-1969 and a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Dixie Leatherwood Cobb, his parents Cora Bell Hale Cobb and Archie Cobb, as well as three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his daughters Kelley Cobb, Connie Cobb Bowlan (Mark), his sisters Jacqueline Gentry, Joyce Jones, Bobbie Monroe, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30pm, until service time at 2:00pm, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett, TN 38133.
