Dwayne Ray Smith, age 54, of Bartlett, Tennessee was born August 23, 1967 in El Paso, Texas. He passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his parent’s home. Dwayne was a salesman for Stamar Packaging Company, an avid fisherman and bowler where he belonged to I.H. Managerial Bowling League and loved his Corvette. He also loved his University of Memphis Tigers, Grizzlies Basketball and Cardinals baseball.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his son Dalton Dwayne Smith in 2021. He is survived by his daughters, Brandie Marie Soucy (Dustin), Savannah Rae Smith both of Memphis and Cameron Leigh Hite (Morgan) of Guam; parents, Raymond and Dora Smith of Bartlett; brother, Darrin O’Dell Smith (Cristi) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Skylar Marie Soucy, Palmer Eloise Soucy, Hindrix Soucy and one on the way. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to any mental illness charity of your choice in memory of Dwayne.
A memorial gathering will be held, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN
