Bernice F. Burkholder, 93, of Memphis, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. She was a communicant of St. Ann Catholic Church, Bartlett and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mrs. Burkholder, the widow of James E. Burkholder, is survived by her daughters Mary (Michael) Hatcher of Olive Branch and Nancy Jean Burkholder of Minneapolis, MN; sons, James F. (Teresa) Burkholder of Spring, TX and David H. (Renea) Burkholder of Dewitt, AR; sisters, Betty Losinski and Rosemary Larson, both of St. Paul, MN; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Teresa Carla Burkholder and her other siblings. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 7 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Visitation will begin at 9. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens.
