Mr. Robert Cassius Lowry

Robert Cassius Lowry (Cash) 76 years old passed away in Barstow, CA on June 2nd, 2024. Born in San Francisco, CA. Parents Beverly and the late Albert Lowry. Schooled in Emporia, Kansas and graduated from Emporia High School. Served in the U.S Army receiving an honorable discharge. Moved to Barstow to work for Santa Fe Railroad as a Switchman. Also was the United Transportations Union delegate. Changed career to work for Goldstone Tracking Station as an Electrician. Cash retired in 2012. He enjoyed retirement building and repairing guitars, playing in local bands, woodworking, restoring his 1957 Chevy Pickup, designing and making jewelry, collecting antiques, especially old bottles. A dude who could fix anything. Favorite pastime was woodshedding with Fender guitars and listening to Clapton and all blues music. Loved to chow down on any food with gravy and BBQ ribs. Cash leaves behind mother Beverly, son Andrew, granddaughter Samantha and Elsie. Proceeded in death by father Albert, brother Charles and son Samuel. We are honoring Cashs wishes not to have a funeral or celebration. A special Thank You to the wonderful staff at Barstow Community Hospital.
