Rex Warnix III

Rex Warnix III, 69, currently living in Tucson, AZ, passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023.

Rex was born on January 5, 1955 in Victorville, CA. to Rex Warnix Jr., and Marjorie Marquis Warnix. He graduated from Barstow Union High School in 1973. He was a past Master of Counselor of Barstow Chapter of the Order of Demolay.

After graduation he worked in the family business, Rex’s Foreign Car Parts and Repair, before moving to Los Angels where he drove for Super Shuttle. He also drove a limousine and ultimately retired as a bus driver for LA Metro.

He married Laurel Livingston in 1989. Their marriage ended in divorce.

In his later years he went to Los Angeles Valley College where he received an AA degree which he completed online after moving to Tucson, AZ. In Tucson he served 3 years as president of the HOA for Silverbell West Condominiums.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Marquis Warnix, his sister Barbara Warnix Boyd and 2 nephews, Jayson and Kevin Boyd

Rex was much loved and is deeply missed by his family and friends.
