Linda Gail Crowe

Linda was born May 12, 1949, in Seneca, South Carolina, to the late Lois and Robert Taylor. Her siblings, Barbara Ann, Mary Alice, and brother Richard preceeded her in death. After settling in Barstow, California, in 1974, she raised her four children, Patrick Crowe of Pasadena CA, her late son Stephen Crowe of San Bernardino CA, daughter Pamela Bernal of Golden Valley AZ, and daughter Karen Woodruff of Idaho Falls ID.

Working several jobs, Linda was able to attend night school where she obtained her high school diploma, and later found her passion and began her career as a barber. She worked alongside fellow barber and longtime friend, Shirley Holcroft Cabrera, at Barstow Barbers, and maintained her career at Santini’s until its closing.

Finding friendship and family within her clientele, Linda was loved by many. Not only leaving behind a devoted community, Linda, known as “Nana,” is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, Timothy, Mia, Micheala, Gabrielle, Madison, Ashleigh, Ethan, Ellie, Santos, Angel, Miracle, Precious, and Nena. Her great-grandchildren, Olina, Noelani, Evelyn, Alliana, and Heaven. And of course her beloved dogs, Coco and Winnie.

Linda Crowe; a mother, a nana, a barber, and a friend to many. We will miss you until Heaven, and what a wonderful reunion that will be.
