Gilbert Elias Montiel

Gilbert Elias Montiel, age 87, of Barstow, California passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Gilbert was born in Belen, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Dominic Montiel, His Grandson Dominic Montiel, and Five siblings. Gilbert is survived by his wife Theresa Montiel, Four Children Christopher Montiel, Jeanette (Mark) Chavira , Gilbert Montiel, and Arthur Montiel. along with 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way, along with his sister Judy Lopez. Gilbert was a man of integrity, he gave all he had to those he loved, and to those he knew just needed a little extra help in life. He was a man that loved with his whole heart to know him was to love him He was a business owner of G.E.M. Construction for many years. He also worked with the street department for the City of Barstow. Gilbert is going to be missed very much, but we know he is with God. We will get to see him again in Heaven. Rest in Love

A viewing for Gilbert will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Connection Community Church, 850 E Main St, Barstow, California 92311.

A services will occur Monday, December 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 850 E Main St, Barstow, California 92311.

A committal service will follow the service on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Mountain View Memorial Park 37067 Irwin Rd. Barstow CA 92311
