Kurt Wolfgang Scheller

Mr. Kurt Scheller, late of Barrhead, Alberta, formerly of Calgary, passed away peacefully after a long illness surrounded by family on Friday, January 29, 2016, at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Annabelle; 2 children, Helene (Lena) Ricci (nee Scheller) of Barrhead and Kevin Scheller of Calgary; 3 treasured grandchildren, Lexi Banville-Scheller and Bella & Hunter Ricci. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Ursula Swider (nee Scheller) of Germany, Petra Sipos of Calgary, and Marion Chappell of Ottawa; 1 brother, Bernhardt Lund of Germany; nephews Volker & Bodo Schreiber of Germany; niece Isabell Dreier of Germany; as well as numerous other family and dear friends. Kurt was predeceased by his mother, Helene (Scheller) Lund of Germany, his father Fritz Scheller of Calgary, and his brother-in-law, Paul Sipos of Calgary.

Viewing will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at Barrhead Alliance Church, the service following at 2:00 pm with Pastor Trevor Crowe officiating.

Private Internment service will be at the East Lawn Community Cemetery.
