Karl Douglas Harrison

Karl, known as Terry to some, was born on January 18, 1937 in Peterborough, Ontario. He was the youngest of three boys including Glen and Ray. Karl and Maureen Daly were married on the St. Hubert, Quebec military base on May 13, 1961. Karl's military career meant that he and his family moved around Canada, but they settled permanently in Alberta in the fall of 1974. Karl and Maureen moved to Moonlight Bay Estates, Gunn, Alberta in 1995

Karl retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1976 to work for Alberta Government Telephones, and later Telus. He retired in 1994 to spend his winters in Arizona with Maureen and friends until 2016.

Karl is predeceased by his brothers Glen and Ray.

Karl is survived by his wife Maureen, daughters Sandy, Trish and Kathy, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Barrhead Legion Field of Honour, 4703-51 Avenue, Barrhead, AB T7N 1H5 or to the Barrhead Health Care centre in thanks to the caring and compassionate staff.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Sunday, October 2 at the Barrhead Legion Field of Honour, Barrhead cemetery. All are welcome.
