Mr. Eugene Edward Fluet, late of Barrhead, AB, formerly of Mosside, AB, passed away on October 6, 2012 at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his loving family; his sister, Sonja Steinraths of Mosside, AB; as well as many nieces and nephews. Gene is predeceased by his father, Omer Fluet; his mother, Ida (nee Bredeson) Fluet; brothers, Charles, Rene, and Leo; sisters, Blanche Staniland, Rita Johnson, and Leona Irvine Olmstead. A Prayer Service was held on October 11, 2012 at Rose Garden Chapel. A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Martin Jubinville officiating. Interment followed in Mosside Catholic Cemetery.
