David Lee Hoyt

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Lee Hoyt, February 9, 2024. Known affectionately as "Red", he is survived by his loving wife Anne-Marie Toothill, his sister Kelly Hoyt, brother in laws Chad Rea, James(Heather) Toothill and Liam(Leila) Toothill and nephews Koltin, Trenton, Lincoln, Jackson and Darren and niece Lexie, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by both his father, David and mother, Lynn. David was born March 2, 1969, in Campbellton, New Brunswick, where he attended school and graduated before moving to Jasper, Alberta in 1998. He loved playing baseball and slow pitch, and was an avid outdoorsman. After moving to Jasper, David met his life partner Anne-Marie who supported and helped him immensely on his journey in this life.

A celebration of David's life will be held on March 02, at 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Jasper Legion Hall. Friends and family are welcome to attend and take part in an afternoon of reminiscing and sharing memories of David.

There will be no interment or other service at this time, as per the family's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your local animal rescue or other charity of your choosing.
