Bonnie Jean Jackson

Bonnie will be forever in the hearts of her family: Husband of 24 years, Allan Jackson, son Cec (Pat) Hamilton, stepchildren Douglas (Liz) Jackson, Colleen (Rolland) Gehrke, Lana Jackson, 4 grandchildren, and 4 step-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by 4 brothers: James (Lynda), Keith (Carol), Roger (Joan), and Larry. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Jack & Ruth Marsden.

Throughout her earlier years, Bonnie excelled in all sorts of sales jobs. No doubt her vivacious personality contributed to her success in selling everything from cosmetics to real estate. Max Factor awarded her "Top Salesperson in Canada" when she beat out people even in huge centers such as Toronto.

Bonnie was the most kind, thoughtful and generous lady, who worried for all of her friends and family – so we didn't have to! We enjoyed many a feast that she so loved to prepare; no one went hungry at Grandma Bonnie's!

Bonnie and Al were regulars at jamborees all over the countryside. Even after a few broken bones, Bonnie danced up a storm!

Over the years, Bonnie's love of animals included not only her beloved dogs and cat, but also every squirrel, bird and critter that visited Al and Bonnie at their lake home.

At Bonnie's request, no formal service will take place. A private family celebration will be held at a later date. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to Edmonton SPCA.
