Richard William McAdams age 30 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home. He was the son of Beverly Broughton McAdams and Mickey McAdams. He was born in Corbin, KY on July 16, 1985. He believed in the Pentecostal faith. When he was younger, he was an exceptional football player and played for the Knox Co. league. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is preceded in death by his brother Josh McAdams and his grandparents, Georgia and Cecil Broughton, Carl Lewis and Eugene McAdams.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his mother and stepfather Beverly McAdams and Donnie "Bill" Brooks, his father and stepmother, Mickey McAdams and Anne Neely, one son Aiden McAdams, two daughters, Kaylee McAdams and Hannah McAdams, one brother Mickey Wayne McAdams, a sister Nicole Carnes and husband Eric all of Corbin, KY, his grandmother, Anna Mae Lewis of Gray, KY He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Josh Broughton, Jayla Carnes and Jorja Carnes and many aunts and uncles. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Richard McAdams will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home chapel on Friday, December 11, 2015 with Rev. Eli Broughton and Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Broughton, Jimmy Brock, Elijah Broughton, Eric Carnes, Dusty White, Ray Broughton, Mickey Wayne McAdams, Ray Broughton and Lance Broughton. Burial will be in the Gray Cemetery at Gray, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
