Truman O. Hance Jr was the firstborn of Truman and Opal Hance. He was born on October 6th 1953 in Patterson, Ca. He grew up in a diligent, hard-working. He learned to work hard for the things that mattered, and that work ethic would follow Truman for his whole life.
He joined the Army and served in the 101st Airborne Division. After his Army service, he moved to Bakersfield, where he started his own business as a General Contractor and Electrician. He would grow and develop this business for over 40 years.
Truman was a man of quiet yet intense faith. He lived his faith through daily life, devotion to his family, and devotion to the Lord. He was, simply put, a Christian father who could be characterized as honest, fair, patient, and kind.
Truman was predeceased by his mother Opal Hance and father Truman Hance Sr.
Truman is survived by his wife Beverly, their daughters and sons-in-law Christa & Tommy Hance, Leslie & Matthew Swaim, and their son Truman Hance III. He was also blessed with seven grandchildren - Alexis, JJ, Madison, Zachary, Matthew, Molly and Morgan.
Services will be held September 8th at Hillcrest Memorial Park in the chapel followed with a graveside at 10:00 am.
