Susan Tweedy
Susan passed away on 7-15-2020 at age 58 due to septic shock and renal failure. She was born in Santa Ana, California on 9-30-61 to Corine and John. Both of her parents preceded her in death.
Susan was a woman who delighted in life's simple interests. She loved the salt water taffy that we would bring her from the coast. She collected various glass knick-knacks in many forms including flowers, crosses, and animals. She displayed her love of butterflies through magnets and decorations around her tidy home. One of her favorite hobbies was quilting and she blessed many of her grandkids with handmade blankets. She surrounded herself with pictures of her family and friends. She lived a life of love and generosity for her family and those who entered her life as friends. Though not blessed with material wealth, she never hesitated with gifts and thoughtful gestures for the people she cared about. She made time to connect with her loved ones and always worked to be the best mom and grandmother she could be. We will miss her heart and presence in our lives. She is preceded in death by her brother, Arthur.
Susan is survived by her 3 children, Stacey Hettinger, Sandra Flores and her husband Keith, son Sam Katomski and his wife Amanda; her grandchildren Darren, Brittany, Angie, Tony, Jessica, Skylor, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Alexis, Kane, Divya and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Abbott and husband John, brother Steve Lopez and wife Marie, brother Ric Lopez and Chris, brother Dan Lopez, brother Wayne Rivera and wife Janice, brother Dennis Hughlett, brother Danny Jimenez along with her many cousins, nieces and nephews. All of whom she loved and treasured deeply
