Sharon Lynn Brummer

Sharon “Lynn” Brummer, 70, passed away after a long convalescence, on November 10, 2024 in Bakersfield California. Sharon was born on May 8, 1954 in Willows California to J.A. Tannehill and Joidon Yvonne Shipton. Sharon was a proud resident of Bakersfield and graduated from North High School in 1972.

Sharon married Michael Brummer on July 9, 1994 in Las Vegas Nevada. Sharon worked as an office manager for a medical billing company before becoming a Real Estate agent in 2003. Sharon’s charisma and wonderful people skills made her a natural in the field of real estate sales. Her time in real estate helped her gain many new friends and develop lasting relationships. Sharon had truly found her calling in the real estate field.

Some of Sharon’s favorite things were spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. Sharon had two small terriers which were her constant companions. Sharon also was an excellent artist and a lover of animals which were often subjects of her art work. Sharon had the ability to bring a smile to all those she encountered. Sharon was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Sharon is survived by her husband Michael, sons Jason Meadows (Tami), Bryan Meadows, daughter Adriane Burns, as well as nine grandchildren. Other relatives include her siblings Mary Choate, Becky Maness- Phillips (James), Hollie Jacobs, Paula Vais (Scott), Allan Tannehill (Cindy), and many other relatives. Sharon was preceded in death by her brother Michael, mother Joiden, and father J.A. Tannehill.

Services will be held November 25, 2024, 10:00am, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd., Bakersfield CA. 93306.
