Raymundo Ornelas, Jr. was born on February 5th, 1977, in Pico Rivera, California and passed away on November 28th, 2022, peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends in Pico Rivera, California.
Raymundo was the 1st beautiful baby boy, born into the Ornelas family. Attended South Ranchito Elementary, Rivera Middle School, and graduated from El Rancho High School. He then went onto school at Devry Technical Institute and graduated with a BA as a Software Engineer.
He went to work for Nextel for some years in the software department. Then found himself dedicated to working for Veterans of America to helping Veterans transporting them for their needs.
He had a kind and gentle soul, who was always there to lend a helping hand. Raymond loved hanging out with close friends and family. He always brought a smile to everyone’s face with his sense of humor. One of his biggest passions was his love for his Silver 2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans-am, let’s not forget his love for sports! His “Raiders”, Lakers, Dodgers, and Kings!
He leaves behind his mother Elida Ornelas, who he dearly loved with all of his heart. His older sister Alicia Ornelas, second oldest sister Evelyn O. Magdaleno, little sister Anglica O. Abuan, and his little brother Enrique Ornelas. Whom upon the passing of their father they became the best of friends. Raymundo also leaves 10 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in passing by his father Raymundo Ornelas Sr.
He will forever be in our hearts.
A visitation for Raymundo will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
A graveside service will follow his service.
