Mary Lavern Risner

Mary Laveren Risner 83, Was born to Mary and Homer Hamilton on March 23,1929 in Monette, Arkansas. She passed away in her home on October 20th, 2012. She married her husband Benny Risner in September of 1965. Mary worked in a potato shed for years, and she also worked as a cleaning lady for motels. Her last job before she retired was in a pistachio plant. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Homer Hamilton, her sisters Josie and Flossy Mae, her brother James, and her husband Benny. She is survived by her son, Joe and his wife Vicki Ledbetter, of North Dakota; her daughter, Mary and husband Ronnie Warren of Bakersfield, California; her son Mike and wife Dana Ledbetter of Bakersfield, California; her son Gary Ledbetter of Lamont, California, and her daughter Diane and husband Wayne King of Lamont, California. Mary had 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends and her church family. Mary loved the Lord very much. We would like to give a big thank you to Sid, Jr. and Connie of Optimal Hospice For their love and care. Viewing for Mary will be held on Sunday, October 28th, 2012 form 2-5 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, October 29th, 2012 at 11:00 am. Special thanks to her pastors Margeret and Norman Ambrose. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
