Judith “Judy” Ann Cash, age 72, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 14th, 2021, in the early morning in Bakersfield, Ca.

She was born, Judith Ann Shubin, May 21, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois to Irene & Andrew Shubin.

Judy married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Cash, September 18, 1965. They were happily married for 54 years. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Bob, who passed in 2019.

Judy is survived by her daughter (best friend) Tina Jose, son-in law (son) Bryan Jose, grandson Travis Jose, great grandson Ryker Jose, granddaughter in-law Kaeleigh Jose, sisters Linda Rohr, Marilyn Johnson, and Kathy Koupal, brother Kenny Shubin; and many other friends and family members who will miss her dearly.

Judy’s greatest passion was spending quality time with her family and helping people. She also had a special fondness for animals, especially her cats, Samie and Bailey. She was always worrying about others, making sure that you made it home safe, or you had a good day, or you weren’t stressing too much. Judy had your back no matter what the issue. She would remember that you had a doctor’s appointment and follow up with you to make sure that everything went well. If you needed a ride somewhere, Judy was there to give you one, no questions asked. She was always looking out for her neighbors, checking in on them. Judy was a devout Christian going above and beyond, every day. We are so very blessed to have known this wonderful, beautiful woman.

As per my mom’s wishes, she is being cremated and laid to rest with my dad, so that they can be together forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Judy on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 1 pm.
