Frank Lee

on November 2,1925 in San Francisco, California to Young and Loo Shee Lee.

A World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, Frank served at Pearl Harbor from 1943-1945.

Frank and family started the National Market in Wasco in 1953, a business which continued for 61 years. He was a proud member of Honor Flight Kern

County, traveling to Washington, D.C. with the November 2014 contingent.

Frank's personality brought a generous warmth of humor and deep emotional stability. He liked people and genuinely cared about them; he loved

to talk with all kinds of people and draw them out. He knew how to set people at ease and bring them together. He loved to travel with his family and especially

enjoyed eating fine food.

He was a prime example of the Greatest Generation. He loved the Honor Flight Kern County and wore his WWII Veteran hat/Honor Flight jacket proudly

wherever he went.

He proclaimed that Honor Flight made him really proud to be an American. Wherever he went, kids and parents would come up to him to shake his hand

and to thank him for his service!

Frank attended Canyon Hills Assembly of God in Bakersfield. His best decision was to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Frank is survived by his loving Wife Hing Lee. Daughter Betty Lee Wong (Husband Wayne) and grandchildren Michael,

Elizabeth, Whitney, and Ellesse. Son Howard Lee. Son Robert Lee (Wife Jan) and grandchildren Nichole and Scott Fuller (Wife Jennifer),

great-grandchild Ethan. Son Arthur Lee (wife Ying) and grandchildren Lindsay, Lauren, and Adelina. Brothers George Lee (wife Poy King, deceased)

and William Liu (wife Tai Ho). Many nephews and nieces.

Frank was preceded in death by Sister Chew Kuen Lay (Husband Dick Chong, also deceased).
