Don was an aviation pilot for many decades. He enjoyed flying with Elsie, and making quick trips to the beach for lunch. He spent countless days working in "Don's Park" where numerous celebrations and family gatherings took place. Don always welcomed everyone to share special occasions in his park. He loved to build things with his personal touch, such as a real tree house for his youngest son and life-size playhouses for his granddaughters. The "Park" continues to exhibit his handy work and his love for woodwork and creativity.
