Zander Cameron Smith

Zander Cameron Smith, of Lindenhurst, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the age of 20. Born in West Islip on June 13, 2003, to Bill and Jeanne, Zander grew up alongside his siblings, Amberly, Billy, Douglas, Todd, Timothy, and Keith, whom he adored and showered with his loving-kindness. He was predeceased by his 10-year-old sister, Cheryl Ann before he was born.

Attending James E. Allen School, Zander will be forever remembered for his warm and sweet nature, and a smile that melted the hearts of each life that he encountered. Zander loved horseback riding and adored his trainer and friend, Anna. He loved swimming and fishing. In Tae Kwon Do worked his way up to a green-tip belt and he loved being a member of Boy Scouts, Troop 383 where he worked hard to earn his merit badges and enjoyed time with the troop, collecting camping and cooking memories along the way. Zander also relished the time that he spent with his many friends at the Island Gamers Club of Bohemia and held his own in competition.

In addition to his parents and siblings, Zander is survived by his cherished niece, Madison, as well as his Nana, and many loving aunts and uncles. Zander's love for his kitty cats, Kitty and Felix, and doggie Delilah who got to feel his love. Zander and his special soft smile will be forever deeply missed by every life that he shared his gentle love with. Please join us in celebrating what our beloved Zander enjoyed, come with a touch of Harry Potter attire and wear your house colors.
