Well dad today is one of your favorite holidays Halloween. You used to love to see the kids come to the door in their little costumes. And counting how many kids we would get. Remember when you used to take pictures when you first come down here of the kids trick-or-treating with your Polaroid camera and I used to say dad stop the parents are gonna think crazy things and then when you turned around and gave the little kids the pictures I thought that was just the sweetest thing but you know what dad that was you. You love seeing those kids. Well Billy handled the trick-or-treaters tonight and he was just like you telling me all about the little costumes they were wearing I think you rubbed off on him daddy. He misses you very much and so do I. I know you’re happy so I’m happy I know you are having a blast. We sure do miss you and love you come visit us. Remember you promised you wouldn’t scare me ha ha Ha.

What can you say about a man who has a heart as big as an ocean?  What can you say about a man who experienced heartbreak But still had a smile that could light up a dark room?  What can you say about a man who had the best head of hair I ever saw. If your me you say, that’s Uncle Bobby. When I think of him I smiling or laughing.  I remember when Uncle Bobby, Aunt Dotty and my parents went to Florida for vacation. When they got back he had me rolling talking about how the two “ladies” hit every single bathroom in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center.  I remember BBQ’s,  4th of July, weddings, and love. I remember how much he loved his wife, his kids his grandkids and his extended family.  While the world seems a little less bright now that he’s not with us, I know he’s looking down and still sharing his love for all those he cared for

I have known Mr. K for about 30 years. I spent a great deal of time at his house  on Nims Avenue as a child.   His house was the hangout house!  I would always come over  to hangout with Danny and I was always welcomed!  He always treated me as his own grand daughter. I think I got yelled at just as much as Danny!  :). 

I loved Mr. K since the first day I met him and I love him more today!  He was an amazing man that was willing to help anyone and everyone!  You don’t find men like him anymore and I am forever grateful to have known him! 

I love you Mr.K and I hope you are re-connecting with all your loved ones whom passed on before you!  Dance your heart away with your bride! I’m sure she missed you!  I wish nothing more for you  than for you to rest peacefully in eternity!  Miss you tons handsome!  Xoxox

We feel fortunate to become friends and share time with you Bob. It was a pleasure to cook for you, play poker with you and just spend time with you. Men like you are hard to come by.  You were a great son,husband,father,soldier, father in law,worker,friend and how could I not leave out gambler. The yrs we were together you were honorable, honest, hungry and I'm glad we met. Good luck on your next journey my friend.

I was so happy when my dad moved down to Tennessee with me. It gave me a chance to get to know my dad as an adult. We all had a blast. He loved it here in Tennessee. He made so many friends. There wasn’t anyone that he met that didn’t become a friend of his. He knew because of his eyesight that when he came down to Tennessee he was not going to be able to drive. My husband Billy made sure that that would n’t bother him because he took him everywhere with him. They were attached at the hip. They were father and Son. The boys used to get together every Monday night and play cards my father could not wait for Monday nights. He also couldn’t wait for Billy to go to the grocery store so he can get those scratch offs. I am going to miss my dad so much. But I know he is in heaven with my mom dancing the Lindy having some wine with aunt Janice and uncle Joe and playing cards with his family. I know they’ve been waiting for him for a long time. I love you dad with all my heart and I will miss you every single day until we meet again.
