Rita Laszewski

Catherine "Rita" McNamara Laszewski was born January 31,1931. She was the first child of Catherine Healy Fratinardo and Paul Fratinardo. Rita had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She left high school and worked for the phone company. She later went back to get her GED and take a few college classes. She met John P. McNamara (Jack) fell in love and married. She had two daughters Ilene Ann Miele and Karen McNamara Werner. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager for Bernesser Masonry. She enjoyed volunteering for Good Samaritan Hospital guild and was a member of the World War Vets Club and active in her church. Some of her hobbies were bowling, knitting, baking and sewing. She absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren. After the loss of her husband Jack she was blessed to meet John Laszewski. They fell in love and married starting a wonderful new life together. This united our two families with a bond which grew stronger and stronger fueled by her love. She leaves behind her 2 siblings Johnny and his wife Claudia and Joey and his wife Maureen. She has many nieces and nephews who will greatly miss her. Between her 2 marriages there were 7 children, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She led a very full life and touched so many people. We will all miss her and celebrate her life.
