Richard F. Buttler, 96, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, formerly of Huntington and Rego Park, entered into Eternal Life on November 19, 2022. Beloved of the late Edna (nee Gordon). Devoted father of Nancy (Juliana Leverage) and Cheryl Murray (James). Adored grandfather of Erin Murray and Robin Murray Schipritt. Cherished great-grandfather of Clarke Buttler Schipritt and Henry Richard Schipritt. Predeceased by his dear sister, Evelyn Scully. Richard was a native of Rego Park, NY, and a resident of Huntington from 1958-2018, before his move to Rhode Island. During his career, Richard was an Aeronautical Design Engineer for Grumman Aerospace until his retirement in 1997. In his retirement years, Richard enjoyed boating, fishing, golf, carpentry, gardening, and cooking.
