Jeffrey W. Jorgensen

Jeffrey W. Jorgensen, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 10, 2024, in Bay Shore, New York. Born on April 4, 1959, in Bay Shore to George Edward Jorgensen and Jean Marie Fitzpatrick, Jeffrey lived a life filled with love and dedication to his family and community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Ann Jorgensen, with whom he shared 38 wonderful years of marriage. Jeffrey was a proud father to Nicole Jorgensen (Mike Hahlbohm), Stephanie Jorgensen (Prem Patel), and Erica Jorgensen (Joel Hernandez). He cherished every moment with his grandson, Stefan Prem Patel, who brought him immense joy.

Jeffrey is also remembered fondly by his siblings, Tom Jorgensen and Lori Jorgensen, as well as his cherished pets, Sandy, Daisy, and Dana. He was a proud uncle to Austin and Jordan Fischer, who will forever hold his memory close.

During his career, Jeffrey served as the Accounting Manager at Ultra Electronics, where his dedication and expertise were highly regarded. Beyond his professional achievements, Jeffrey found great joy in fishing and gardening, activities that brought him peace and fulfillment.

He leaves behind a circle of dear friends, including Manisha and Uresh Patel, Evelyn and Jack McHugh, Kerry McHugh, Shannon McVey and her husband Colin, their son Patrick, Erin McHugh, Kortney McHugh and her partner John, and their children Avery and Benjamin. Each of them will remember Jeffrey for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.

Jeffrey will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. A visitation will occur Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A mass will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 455 Hunter Ave, West Islip, NY 11795. A burial will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St Patrick Cemetery, 225 Brentwood Rd, Bay Shore, NY 11706.
