Gladys E. Dempsey (nee Farkas). June 28, 1917 - June 18, 2016. Predeceased by her husband Paul Dempsey. Gladys was a Sgt in the US Army during WWII. She is survived by 2 nieces and a loving family of friends at the LI State Veterans Home. Family and friends may visit Wednesday 2:00-4:30pm and 7:00-9:30pm at the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 11:00 am at the Christ Episcopal Church, Babylon NY. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale NY.
