She is survived by her loving children: Diana (Ron) Fehntrich, Lynda Cicciari, Dean (Lorena) Cicciari, and was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Marie Cicciari.
Elizabeth was a cherished grandmother who affectionately referred to her as "Grandma Boop" to 6 grandchildren: Justin Bonilla-Fehntrich, Lauren Fehntrich, Desiree Colon, Vanessa Mangia, Brenna Cicciari and DJ Cicciari; and great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren: Layla, Kaliese & Kendra Harris, Micah, Malakai, Mateo, & Madison Colon.
She is also survived by her brother John Viera and was predeceased by her sister Dolores Bento.
Elizabeth dedicated many years to teaching as a 3rd grade educator in the Lindenhurst schools ( Bower elementary) , positively impacting the lives of countless students. She was an active member of the Lindenhurst Retired Teachers Association and the Red Hatters Club, where she enjoyed friendships and activities that brought her joy. Elizabeth had a passion for sewing, crafts, reading, and spent many enjoyable hours playing bingo with friends.
Known for her thoughtfulness, generosity, and loving nature, Elizabeth was an outstanding mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A visitation will occur Monday, July 22, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A religious ceremony will occur Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Patrick's RC Church, 9 Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
