Paul Quirk, age 76, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Paul was born in Ottawa on May 1, 1944 to Edward and Francoise Quirk (née Garneau). He spent most of his childhood living in the Ottawa and Aylmer (Quebec) area. Devoted husband of Marlene (née Creed). Cherished brother of Louise Richard (George). Loving father of Edward (Holly) and Pamela (Robert Yaworski). Proud grandpa of Devan, Britton, Kyra and Rhode. Prior to retirement, Paul was the printing coordinator for the Liberal Party where he was able to interact with those on Parliament Hill, much like his father had done for 52 years. After a very special send off in the House of Commons, Paul spent his last 4 years in retirement, spending time with his family, his dog, Bella, and the men who would gather in the mornings at the Marcotte Service Station in Quyon (Quebec). A virtual celebration service will be planned at a later date. If interested in attending please respond at edandholly@rogers.com. Should friends desire, an In Memoriam donation may be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul at: ssvp.ca
