Though she is at peace, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine (Jeannie) Morin Douglas who passed away peacefully at the Centre d’hébergement d’Aylmer (CHSLD Renaissance) on Sunday, September 22,2024 at the age of 98 years.
Beloved wife of the late Charles Douglas (2004). She leaves behind to mourn her two sons Brian Douglas (Carole), William Douglas (Susan) and her deeply loved granddaughter Robin Douglas (Jeff). Also survived by her dear sister Denise Wilson. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Pierre and Albertine (Tremblay) Morin, her son James along with her sisters and brothers Claire, Gertrude, Rachel, Roland, Venetta, Lolita, Gerard and Dolores.
Jeannie had a love for singing, dancing, traveling and horses. That’s who she was and what gave her the most joy next to her family.
Our family wishes to thank the CHSLD Renaissance for their excellent service and care. Those wishing to make donations to commemorate Jeannie are asked to donate to the charity of their choice.
There will be no memorial service. An intimate family graveside service will be held on October 4th at 2:00 pm.
