He then attended and played baseball at Southwestern University in Georgetown and later studied at St. Edwards University where he served in leadership.
His passion for sports was evident as he not only excelled as a baseball pitcher and basketball player but also fervently supported Longhorn sports. Whether through athletics or in other endeavors, like volunteering for political campaigns, William always exhibited a strong work ethic.
When it came to recreation time, he loved being outdoors in nature with friends and family. He especially cherished annual trips to the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe and fun times on Lake Austin.
William will be remembered as a gentle soul carrying unconditional love for everyone in his life, for his wonderful sense of humor and for his dedication to his family, sisters, friends and teammates.
William is survived by his parents Craig Biggar and Carrie Biggar; sisters Caroline and Catherine Biggar; grandmothers Phyllis Biggar and Lea France; aunts Staci Biggar, Marci Biggar Jones, and Christi Terry, and by eleven cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Biggar.
A service to celebrate William's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
