She was born in Albany, NY and lived in New York City for part of her childhood before returning to Albany. She was employed by the telephone company until she chose to stay home and raise her daughters. She returned to work once her daughters were older. She worked at Hewitt’s Garden Center and then New Meadow Preschool, both of which were in the office.
In the year 2000, she and her husband moved to Texas to be near their daughters and grandchildren. They resided in Cedar Park, TX.
She is survived by her daughters. Her daughter Theresa, husband Shawn, and grandchildren Michael, Deanna, and Katrina Alpert. Her daughter Judith, her husband Gerald, and grandchildren Jimmy, Steven, Gregory and Christina Zuraski.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fred A. Winnie and her parents Nelson and Ona Reinhart.
Services will be held on Sunday October 31, 2021 at 10:00AM at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home in Austin, TX for family and close friends.
