Virginia Osborn McNabb was born on April 29, 1924 in Muskegon, Michigan to Elizabeth and Paul Osborn. Virginia, fondly known as Ginger to many, grew up in Grosse Ile, Michigan with her siblings Paul Jr and Pree, and spent summers with her mother's family in Greenville, Georgia. Ginger attended Sweet Briar College, excelling in music and drama. She married a nearby Grosse Ile neighbor and returning WWII veteran, John McNabb, in 1947. Virginia and John raised four children: John Jr, Elizabeth (Lisa), Duncan, and Mary Alice. As the spouse of a talented career Air Force Officer of 34 years, Virginia traveled the world and raised an amazing family. She is survived by her children and their spouses; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister Pree and her husband George; and a loving network of extended family members and friends.
She is remembered most for her truly kind spirit and incredible thoughtfulness. She will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 23rd at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1306 West Lynn Street. Interment will be held at Crestview Memorial Park, Wichita Falls, Texas.
