November 9, 1928 - February 3, 2022
Tina entered this world in a tent on an Indian Reservation during a snowstorm in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. She entered heaven the same way, during an ice and snowstorm just as the sun broke through the clouds for a spectacular sunset in Wimberley, Texas. Her journey was complete upon hearing Psalm 23 as she transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home with family by her side.
Tina was a loving mother who was always devoted to her children. While caring for her family, she built a career as an educator serving as an elementary school teacher in Southeast Texas in the Warren and Port Arthur school districts. Her enthusiasm for learning and commitment to her students enriched countless young lives and built the foundation fur success. Up until her death, Tina continued her lifelong commitment to learning and self improvement. She was especially interested in health and wellness through natural means. She was an avid reader, well versed in current events and immersed herself daily to prayer and was devoted to the study of God’s word. Her joy was found in the truth of everlasting life.
Joyful was her normal state and joy was the gift she shared with others. Her affirming and enriching presence will be missed by those who knew her and loved her but we are comforted in the knowledge she departed this life and is now experiencing the perfect joy of full communion with the Lord in heaven.
Tina is survived by her sons, Wade McGraw (Susie), Keith McGraw (Cathy) and daughter Elizabeth Ash (Brian). She is also survived by granddaughter Mollie Morgan and great grandson Jack Womack, as well as nephew Steve McGraw and niece MaryAnn McGraw.
