Terrence Joseph Staniszewski

Terrence Joseph Staniszewski, aged 72, passed away on December 8, 2024, in Austin, Texas. Born on February 21, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, Terry, as he was affectionately known, leaves behind a legacy of warmth and dedication, evident in both his personal and family life.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Carla Staniszewski, and their children: Andrea and Chris Schricker, April and Trent Smith, and Joseph and Kimberly Staniszewski. He was a cherished grandfather to Beau and Alex Smith, and Harper and Ava Staniszewski. His brother’s Joseph (Rusty) and Colleen Staniszewski along with their children, and Doug and Barb Staniszewski. Family was the cornerstone of his life, providing him with both pride and joy.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Staniszewski, his mother, Florence Staniszewski, and his brother, Al Staniszewski.

A lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, Terry's enthusiasm for his teams was infectious, embodying the spirit and resilience of a true sports aficionado. His love for the games often brought his family and friends together, creating lasting memories around exciting plays and thrilling victories.

A celebration of Terry’ s life will be held on March 29, 2025, at the Fire Barn in Bartlett, Illinois, where friends, family, and acquaintances will gather to honor his memory and the impact he had on those around him. Terry's life was a testament to the enduring strength of family bonds and the joy of shared passions. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
