Sharon Ann Tomko, age 57, of Austin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 3, 2003. Sharon was born in San Francisco, California, but grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas, in a military family. She traveled with her family extensively. She met and married Regis Tomko, in Columbus, Mississippi, in 1961. She continued her travels with her husband during his military career, and settled in Austin in 1973, and remained in Austin after her husbands retirement from Bergstrom Air Force Base. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister, and was a friend to all. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Regis Tomko; daughter, Sherrian McClung and husband Bruce; parents, Helen and Jim Wilson; three brothers, Paul Wilson and wife Carol, Stephen Wilson, and Marc Wilson and wife Rose; sister-in-law, Betty Hudson; nephews, Durrell and Christopher; and nieces Christina and Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Durrell Hudson. The family will receive friends from 4:00 6:00 p.m., Sunday, and 6:00 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2003, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, with Reverend Becca Gurney as officiant.
