Ruth Brooks Teague Ruth Brooks Teague age 85, of Austin passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2005. She was born February 2, 1920 to Ruth and George Brooks in Deming, New Mexico. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Teague, grandsons Scott Sitra, Matt Sitra and his wife Shauna. She was preceded in death by her son Joe M. Teague, Jr., her parents, and by two brothers. Ruth enjoyed traveling the world with the Texas Exes, as well as interior design. She was a long time member of the Highland Park Baptist Church and The Settlement Club. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care given by the staff of Buckner Villas. They would also like to give their thanks to Dr. Peggy Russell. Services will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
